Appointments

Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday, and our telephone receptionists are available all day to transfer your call.

Standard Office Hours

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

What if I'm unavailable during standard office hours?

Some of our providers do offer earlier and later appointments.

Please call our Scheduling Specialists to arrange an appointment. They are available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

When we are not in the office, our answering service knows how to reach us. If we are delayed, we will try to notify you, giving you a choice of rescheduling or being seen by another associate. During office hours, you can depend on the phone triage nurse to return your call for help with urgent problems.

Do you do walk-in appointments?

Due to the high volume of patients we see each day, we are unable to accept walk-in appointments.

What if I have an urgent question or concern?

If you have an urgent question or concern during our office hours, you will be transferred to speak with one of our highly-skilled Triage Nurses and get the help you need.

If you need to reach us after regular office hours, please call our main number (978-927-4800) and our Answering Service will assist you.

What if I need to reschedule an appointment?

If you must change an appointment, please let us know as early as possible so that we may offer the open time to another patient.

What if there is Inclement Weather?

If there is snow or other inclement weather forecast please call our Inclement Weather phone number at 978-232-5536.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice so that someone else may use your appointment time.

There is a $25 charge for appointments that canceled without notice.

Will I see the same physician or midwife every time I come in?

Our physicians (as well as midwives) work together to ensure that our patients can be seen and cared for in the most effective possible way. This means that we cover for each other so someone is available to you at all times. Because all of your medical records are electronic, each provider has access to current information for every patient in our practice. If your regular doctor or midwife is not available, you can make an appointment with another of our providers and trust that you will receive the same knowledgeable and expert care.

What should I expect on my first appointment?

New appointments generally require more time than established patients. Patient information, medical history, and the other pertinent information to help us diagnose and treat your ailment can be time consuming. Your help and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Note: Unfortunately, emergencies and deliveries do occur which occasionally cause delays in our schedule. However, we will try our best to honor your appointment time.
